alison's tea party.

On Sunday afternoon I attended the bridal shower of my childhood friend Alison. The theme was tea party and it was held at the Deleware Water Gap Country Club. We sipped on mimosas, ate little tea sandwiches, cheese & fruit and fabulous cupcakes made by my friends Casey & Nicki! It was fun to catch up with girls that I went to highschool with and witness Alison being showered with love, and of course beautiful gifts..

I'm particularly smitten with this little berry dress with the sweet lace collar.. I thrifted it ages ago and recently got around to hemming it. I will be listing it in the shop this week, but thought I'd share it with you because I liked it so much!

dress shopping!

I went dress shopping with my beautiful friend Allison a few weeks ago, but until now did not want to share pictures and spoil the surprise until she decided on a dress! Allison is engaged to our friend Taylor, and they will be getting married this Fall. Andrew is Taylor's best man and I will have the privilege of being a bridesmaid for their wedding!

We went to a sweet little bridal shop called The Wedding Pavilion in Paoli, PA which was probably the sweetest, most feminine little shop I have ever set foot in. It was truly a tough decision because Allison looked absolutely stunning in everything she tried on... 

I'm sorry to say, but I will have to wait to share her final decision until after her big day!! I'm so excited to be a part of Allison and Taylor's wedding and I have begun to peruse the wedding blogs again for inspiration..

warm spaces.

Two weeks from tomorrow I will be arriving in Riviera Maya Cancun to spend a week at the Secrets Silversands Resort teaching yoga! Andrew will be tagging along as my free guest to enjoy all that this luxurious resort has to offer during our free afternoons and evenings, when I'm not teaching. 

We spent a week here last January for a working vacation and it was absolutely perfect...My classes were really well attended and we met a lot of great people. So, Andrew talked me into going back again, and we could not be more excited! There is just something magical about leaving the cold & snow, and stepping off a plane somewhere warm..
