wedding weekend brunch!

 I have so many beautiful photos to show you from Hillary & Calvin's wedding weekend! To kick off a series of posts (ha, no but seriously) here are shots from the brunch I hosted at our house on Friday for the wedding party and a few close friends. 

It was my first attempt at strata with spinach, peppers & onions, (a Little family staple) and it turned out pretty delicious. I also made Paula Deen's baked french toast casserole which is super easy and of course delicious because it is full of butter! We lucked out and were blessed with a gorgeous sunny day!

Hill loves cheese. A lot. We had a beautiful cheese board prepared by her sister Jessica. Thanks Jess!!

Hillary + Calvin get married on Sunday! Here are a few shots from their fun wedding shower that took place this weekend. There was tons of delicious food, hilarious friends & family, and plenty of lawn games...

I would say that I had a bad week this week. The weather didn't help my emotional state either, because it has been raining here for DAYS, and I truly mean all week long. But there were a few things that cheered me up.

My college roommate, maid of honor and all around wonderful friend Meredith is coming to visit me this weekend, so that will also be a shiny part of my week :)

bachelorette, beach & buddhakan.

We had a fun time celebrating in A.C. this weekend for Allison's bachelorette party. However I will admit I did a horrible job at documenting the trip in photos, forgetting my camera every time we left the hotel. But we had a perfect beach day on Saturday, followed by an awesome dinner at Buddhakan, and a little dancing. Allison looked beautiful in her sequin dress and I can't wait to see her in her wedding gown in 2 weeks!

Without a doubt, I have the most fun running the shop during the fall and winter because I'm such a sucker for sparkly things and fur coats. So I have already begun to fill the shop with holiday items in anticipation for my busy season.
