my christmas cottage mantle

it's my first christmas with my husband and i'm so excited to decorate our cottage!! i thought i'd share my mantle with you since almost EVERYTHING on it was thrifted! even down to the white twinkle lights..(i knowwww, but srsly they were brand new!). the only "new" things are the bride & groom fabric birds, which were crafted for me by my dear friend abby, and served as beautiful cake toppers at my wedding! as well as the 2 small porcelain doves (pier1).

P.S. check out joanna goddard's pretty mantle if you haven't already seen it! we had similar ideas with our brass deer :) have any of you done anything special to your living room this christmas??!
